We offer Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, picked by hand on a farm in the mountains high above the town of Sidamo. There, the coffee beans are washed, and then soaked up to 72 hours in fermentation tanks. For Best Results:

GRIND only as much as you need for one cup or one pot of coffee.
CHOOSE the correct grind. Fine for espresso, medium for automatic drip, coarse for French Press.
MEASURE ground coffee to taste. Start with two level tablespoons of ground coffee per six ounces of cold filtered or bottled water.
STORE in an airtight container to protect the flavor and aroma and ensure rich, fresh tasting coffee. Do not freeze or refrigerate.
We source our coffee from the best family coffee farms around the world and buy only the top 1% of Arabica Beans.

We hand roast our coffee daily in small batches to a traditional, smooth taste profile. This is the way we've done it since 1963, when we opened our first store in Brentwood, CA.

Comments about by The Coffee Bean Ethiopia Yirgacheffe:

I like coffee for the taste, aroma and the atmosphere it creates especially when you are out with friends at a nice coffee shop or when you have a nice get together at home.

i French press this particular coffee and it tastes wonderful! you can add a little creamer if you like cream (half/half) and sweetener. I like both cream and sweetener in my coffee.

This coffee lasts me about a month, cus I have friends that come over just for my coffee :)
it really is a good coffee if you appreciate a good coffee

i wouldnt use it in a regular coffee maker cus for some reason it doesnt tast the same.

    Thank you
