Savor the tea of emperors. This delicate green tea is revered by the Chinese for its jade green color and unique shape. The only place in the world where Lung Ching Dragonwell tea is grown is in the West Lake district in Hangzhou, China. We make the tea the same way the Chinese have made it for centuries. The tea is meticulously prepared from tender leaves using a traditional handmade technique.

Aroma: Mild
Body: Smooth
Flavor: Delicate
Origin: China
Begin with fresh, bottled or filtered water. Bring the water just to a boil. Place one teaspoon of tea leaves per 8 oz cup of water into a teapot or infuser or place one tea bag directly into a 12 to 16oz cup. Pour water directly over the tea leaves or tea bag. Note that over-steeped tea will become bitter. For stronger tea add more leaves rather than infusing longer than recommended.

Steeping Time

Green Teas: 3 minutes
Black Teas: 5 minutes
Oolong Teas: 5 minutes
Herbal and Fruit Infusions 7 minutes
You may wonder why we are so passionate about using only whole leaf tea in each tin of our retail teas. Well, we like to drink great tasting tea. Whole tea leaves retain their natural properties and result in the most flavorful, best tasting cup of tea possible. We also go to great things to source our tea , searching the world to offer Simply the Best™ cup of tea to our valued customers. Enjoy!

Comments about The Coffee Bean Lung Ching Dragonwell Tea:

As a European, I drink more tea than coffee. For years I've had issues finding the right green tea in pouches. You either get the "smoky" cha variety that's not to my liking or weak watery stuff that passes for green with most tea companies.
The only one I previously liked was Mighty Leaf green dragon, but it's hard to find where I live. Plus this one is better. It's strong, bursting with somewhat citrusy flavor, and gives just the right amount of zing. It brews beautifully, too, which makes it nice to serve in glass cups.

Comments about The Coffee Bean Lung Ching Dragonwell Tea:

A friend of mine gave me some of hers to try & I loved it. . So I ordered one can. The only negative is not the tea but the company . I wanted 5 cans so I don't have to order every week but they only had one. I drink it every morning & I run out very quickly.
Maybe the rest of my order could have been sent later so I don't have to order again but they only send one with no other follow-up.

Comments about The Coffee Bean Lung Ching Dragonwell Tea:

My favorite green tea by far! I am long-time tea enthusiast, and this is the best green tea for the best price anywhere around. In fact, I would much prefer this Lung Ching Dragonwell Green Tea over
the other higher priced "The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf" green tea varieties!

Comments about The Coffee Bean Lung Ching Dragonwell Tea:

Started drinking green tea about 20 yrs ago when I had to quit drinking coffee for medical reasons. I tried many types of green teas (most too bitter) but when I found Lung Ching Dragonwell, I knew that was the one for me. I use one bag per day which I place in a thermos containiner along with hot water. As I pour it into a cup, I add hot water to the thermos. I probably drink a total of about 10 cups between 7am to 2pm from the same tea bag.
