This invigorating green mint tea is hand crafted using a traditional Moroccan recipe first popularized in the 18th century. Handed down from the original tea traders of Casablanca, our version uses the finest Gunpowder Green Tea from China, flavored with richly aromatic peppermint. A classic pick-me-up from the bazaars of the old world, this intensely flavorful tea is traditionally served with sugar in small glasses.

Aroma: Fresh, minty
Body: Subtle
Flavor: Bright, minty
Origin: China
Begin with fresh, bottled or filtered water. Bring the water just to a boil. Place one teaspoon of tea leaves per 8 oz cup of water into a teapot or infuser or place one tea bag directly into a 12 to 16oz cup. Pour water directly over the tea leaves or tea bag. Note that over-steeped tea will become bitter. For stronger tea add more leaves rather than infusing longer than recommended.

Steeping Time

Green Teas: 3 minutes
Black Teas: 5 minutes
Oolong Teas: 5 minutes
Herbal and Fruit Infusions 7 minutes
You may wonder why we are so passionate about using only whole leaf tea in each tin of our retail teas. Well, we like to drink great tasting tea. Whole tea leaves retain their natural properties and result in the most flavorful, best tasting cup of tea possible. We also go to great things to source our tea , searching the world to offer Simply the Best™ cup of tea to our valued customers. Enjoy!

Comments about The Coffee Bean Moroccan Mint Tea:

I was looking for a green tea with some mint flavor. This was perfect. I actually love the "gunpowder" flavor, which i didn't think that I would. Perfect for those cold wintery nights! I think this would also make a great iced tea (in an infuser).

Not a bad tea but I have had better mint tea. This company has much tastier mint teas.

Comments about The Coffee Bean Moroccan Mint Tea:

Minty and Chocolaty especially as a latte. I love this on colder evenings hanging around a fire with friends it's like a sophisticated Hot Chocolate or better yet all the nostalgia of an Andes Chocolate Mint.
