OFFICIAL RULES 

OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OVER. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO WIN.  A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.  AN AFFIDAVIT OF ELIGIBILITY/ RELEASE OF LIABILITY/ PUBLICITY AND PRIZE ACCEPTANCE AGREEMENT (“AFFIDAVIT”) MAY BE REQUIRED. YOU UNDERSTAND THAT YOU ARE PROVIDING YOUR INFORMATION TO INTERNATIONAL COFFEE & TEA, LLC.  

BY ENTERING THE PROMOTION, YOU AGREE TO THESE OFFICIAL RULES, WHICH ARE A CONTRACT, SO READ THEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING. 

Eligibility:  The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® Now You See Me Sweepstakes (the “Promotion”) is open only to legal residents of the United States or District of Columbia (D.C.) who are eighteen (18) years of age or older. Employees, officers and directors of International Coffee & Tea, LLC (the “Sponsor”), Lions Gate Entertainment, Inc., Sponsor franchisees, and each of their respective licensees, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family members (spouses, siblings, children, parents, grandparents, grandchildren and spouses of the foregoing, regardless of where they live) or members of the same households (whether related or not) of such individuals are not eligible. 

 

Promotion Period: The Promotion begins on October 15, 2025, 6:00AM PST and ends on November 14, 2025, 8:59PM PST (“Promotion Period”).  

To Enter:  

During the Promotion Period, visit https://www.coffeebean.com/pages/nowyouseememovie-sweepstakes (“Entry Form”) and complete the mandatory fields in the entry form link and submit the entry form (“Entry”).  The Entry Form can also be accessed through QR codes found at participating United States The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® locations.   

 

To be eligible for and entered in the specified Drawings (see Selection of Winners section below for additional details), an Entry must be received by 11:59 PM PST on the day before the designated Drawing date.  If an Entry is received after a Drawing occurs, it will be automatically added to the next Drawing. Non-winning Entries will be eligible for all future Drawings.  All entries must meet the entry requirements set forth herein. Those who do not follow all of the instructions, provide the required information in their entry form, or abide by these “Official Rules” or other instructions of Sponsor may be disqualified at Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion.  

 

Only one Entry per email account.   Entries that are in excess of the stated limits may be disqualified at Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion. Entries submitted by entrants who do not meet the eligibility requirements (including all requirements with respect to age and residence) are void. Use of any robotic, automatic, programmed, or similar method or entering more than the number of times permitted will void all entries and result in disqualification. Proof of submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt. The Sponsor’s computer is the official timekeeper for the Promotion.  

Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the Entry. The account holder will be deemed the entrant (“Entrant”). In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an Entrant, the Entrant will be deemed the authorized account holder of the email address account at the time of Entry will be deemed to be the Entrant. The “Authorized account holder” of the email address is defined as the person who manages the email address used for entry. If a dispute cannot be resolved to Sponsor’s satisfaction, the entry will be deemed ineligible.  It is solely the responsibility of the Entrant to notify Sponsor of any changes in the Entrant’s information subsequent to the date of Entry. 

Privacy: Your online entry during the Promotion Period constitutes your consent to enter and participate in this Promotion and your consent for Sponsor to obtain, use and transfer your name, email, phone number and other information (collectively, “Sweeps Data”) for the purpose of administering this Promotion, awarding the prizes and to comply with legal requirements. Any information an entrant provides may be used to communicate with the entrant in relation to this Promotion or on a Promotion winners’ list. 

 

Selection of Winners: There will be four (4) random drawings for the Promotion from the eligible entries received, and a total of twenty-two (22) winners will be selected from all eligible Entries.   

The random drawings will be conducted at a time and day in Sponsor’s sole discretion, but no later than October 21, 2025 (Drawing #1), October 28, 2025 (Drawing #2), November 4, 2025 (Drawing #3) and November 15, 2025 (Drawing #4) (collectively referred to as “Drawings”). Please see the Prize section to see which Prize correlates to which Drawing.  All Drawings will be conducted by the Sponsor in its sole discretion, and decisions of the Sponsor as to the selection of the winners will be final. 

Winners will be notified via email through the email account provided in the Entry form. The Sponsor is not responsible for any change of email address of Entrants. The Sponsor is not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, misdirected or unsuccessful efforts to notify a finalist and/or potential winner(s).  

Potential winners are subject to verification, including verification of eligibility. If an entrant is unable to verify his/her information, the entrant will automatically be disqualified and their prize, if any, will be forfeited. If a potential winner does not respond and/or provide the requested documentation within seventy-two (72) hours of notification, the Entrant will automatically be disqualified, and their prize will be forfeited.  Additionally, as a condition of entering the sweepstakes, entrants agree and acknowledge that in order to receive a prize and be deemed a winner, Entrants may be required to sign an Affidavit provided by the Sponsor and agree to the terms herein, including but not limited to the prize conditions. The potential prize winner's failure to return all required forms within seventy-two (72) hours of notification, will result in the potential winner being disqualified and, in such event, the Sponsor may randomly select an alternate winner from among all remaining eligible entries, as determined by Sponsor in its sole and discretion.   The Sponsor reserves the right to determine an alternate potential winner in accordance with these Official Rules in the event that any potential winner is disqualified, cannot be contacted, or is deemed ineligible for any reason, or is not available to participate in any applicable events. Once a potential winner has responded, been verified and provided the Sponsor with the required documentation, they shall be defined as a Winner. 

 

 

 

Prizes: A maximum of twenty-two (22) prizes will be awarded in this Promotion.   The following prizes will be awarded (collectively and individually referred to as “Prize”): 

  • Drawing #1 (NY Premier): One (1) winner will receive an invitation for the winner and winner’s guest to attend the premier of Now You See Me 3 (“NYSM3”) in New York City, New York on November 10, 2025, round trip economy airfare from winner’s nearest major airport and one (1) night hotel stay in New York City, New York.  This prize is referred to as “NY Premier.” The actual retail value of this trip may vary due to the winner’s residence and time of travel. Approximate retail value of this prize is $3,000 USD.   
  • Drawing #2 (NYSM3 Screening (Santa Monica)): One (1) winner will receive a private screening for the winner and fifteen (15) guests to see NYSM3 at a private showing in Santa Monica, California. This prize is referred to a “NYSM3 Screening.” Approximate retail value of this prize is $400 USD.   
  • Drawing #3 (NYSM3 Movie Tickets): Five (5) winners will receive two (2) tickets to see NYSM3.  NYSM3 Tickets will be distributed via a code that will be redeemable online through Atom Tickets.  Atom Tickets' terms and conditions will apply. Approximate retail value of this prize is $30 USD.   
  • Drawing #4 
  • NYSM3 Swag: Ten (10) winners will receive an item of NYSM3 movie promotional material. Item will be selected in Sponsor’s discretion. Approximate retail value of this prize is $15 USD.   
  • NYSM Streaming Codes: Five (5) winners will receive one (1) online code to stream the original Now You See Me (2013) film.  Code will be redeemable through movieredeem.com (terms and conditions of movieredeem.com will apply). Approximate retail value of this prize is $15 USD.   

Approximate retail value of all Prizes is $3,775 USD. 

 

No Prize can be redeemed for cash, except if required by law. Each Prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsor.  Value of a Prize is inclusive of any applicable taxes. All taxes, as applicable, on or connected with any Prize are the sole and exclusive responsibility of the Winner. An IRS Form 1099 may be issued in the name of the prize winner for the actual value of the prize received. The Prize is non-transferable and not to be resold. Any Prize may be substituted for any reason at the discretion of the Sponsor. If a Winner does not accept or use the entire Prize, the unaccepted or unused part of the prize will be forfeited, and the Released Parties (as defined below) will have no further obligation with respect to that prize or portion of the prize. The Released Parties are not responsible for and will not replace any lost, mutilated or stolen prize(s) or any prize that is undeliverable or does not reach a winner because of an incorrect or changed address (email or physical). 

 

Conditions applicable to the NY Premier: All applicable expenses and costs not expressly listed in the above NY Premier prize description, including, but not limited to, airline baggage fees, souvenirs, parking, taxes, tips, entertainment, transfers, airline or hotel upgrades, food and beverage, ground transportation, passport and/or visa fees,  and transportation to airport to and from winner’s home residence are the winner’s sole responsibility.  Winner and Winner’s guest must travel at the same time on same itinerary from within the United States/DC as set by Sponsor. Winner’s guest must be of legal age of majority in his/her jurisdiction of residence (and at least eighteen (18) years of age), unless accompanying a winning parent or legal guardian. Trip must be booked at least seven (7) days in advance of the NY Premier and must be completed by December 1, 2025.  Certain travel restrictions and blackout dates may apply. Winner and their guest must possess (at their own cost) valid travel documents in order to travel. Failure to obtain required travel documents by Winner may result in forfeiture of prize and alternate selection. No refunds or credit for travel changes are allowed. If the Winner chooses to travel without a travel companion, the prize will be awarded in increments appropriate for one (1) traveler (i.e., the Winner) and Winner will not receive additional compensation of any kind in conjunction therewith. Airfare shall not exceed $2,000.  If the roundtrip airfare is less than the stated maximum, the difference will not be awarded to the Winner. If the airfare cost is above the stated maximum, any additional costs must be borne by the Winner.  Winner and guest must agree to follow any applicable travel protocols that may be in place at the time of travel. Airline tickets are for travel from the U.S. major airport nearest winner's home to the destination city. Airline carrier regulations and conditions apply. Seat selection and timing of trip are subject to travel, and confirmation of reservations.  Hotel accommodation is based on 2 adults sharing a room.  A valid credit or debit card will be required to guarantee the hotel room on check in and pay for incidentals. All applicable hotel terms and conditions apply.  Hotel will be selected by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Attendance at the NY Premier is subject to the standard terms, conditions, and health and safety policies applicable to Lions Gate Entertainment Inc. and the venue of the premier. Seat locations at the NY Premier shall be determined at the sole discretion of Sponsor and/or Prize Provider. NY Premier dates and times are determined at the sole discretion of Lions Gate Entertainment Inc. and may be subject to change. The terms and conditions of the location where the NY Premier is held will govern, whether the NY Premier, is not played or held due to weather conditions, an act of God, an act of terrorism, civil disturbance, or any other reason. Winners and their respective guests agree to comply with all applicable venue regulations in connection with this prize. Released Parties will not be responsible for weather conditions; acts of God; acts of terrorism; civil disturbances; local, state, or federal regulation, order, or policy; work stoppage; epidemic, pandemic, or any other issue concerning public health or safety; or any other event outside of their control that may cause the cancellation or postponement of any concert. Sponsor, Lions Gate Entertainment Inc., the NY Premier venue, & the applicable onsite representatives reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to remove or to deny entry to any winner and/or his/her guest who engage(s) in disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person during the event associated with the prize. If, for whatever reason, the event associated with the prize is cancelled after the prize is awarded, Sponsor’s liability for the prize is limited only to the non-event portions of the prize. No compensation will be paid in lieu of the cancelled event. The winner assumes all risks, hazards, and dangers arising from or relating in any way to the risk of contracting COVID-19 or any other communicable disease or illness, or a bacteria, virus or other pathogen capable of causing a communicable disease or illness, whether occurring before, during, or after attending the game however caused or contracted, and voluntarily waive all claims and potential claims against the Released Parties relating to such risks.  If a trip destination is less than 250 miles from a winner’s residence, Sponsor (in its sole discretion) may provide such winner with $250 in spending money for driving expenses in lieu of airfare. 

 

Conditions applicable to the NYSM3 Screening: Attendance at the NYSM3 Screening is subject to standard terms, conditions and safety policies of the screening location.  The exact date and time of the NYSM3 Screening will be determined between the Winner and Lions Gate Entertainment Inc. but shall occur on or before December 31,  025.  The location of the NYSM3 Screening shall be at the Lions Gate Entertainment Inc. offices located at 2700 Colorado Avenue, Santa Monica, CA 90404.  All applicable expenses and costs not expressly listed in the above NYSM3 Screening prize description, including, but not limited to, travel, souvenirs, parking, taxes, tips, entertainment, food and beverage, and ground transportation are the winner’s sole responsibility.  Winner’s guest must be of legal age of majority in his/her jurisdiction of residence (and at least eighteen (18) years of age), unless accompanying a winning parent or legal guardian. NYSM3 Screening dates and times are determined in the sole discretion of Lions Gate Entertainment Inc. and may be subject to change. General:  By participating, entrants agree: [a] to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and decisions of Sponsor which shall be final in all respects relating to the Promotion, including without limitation the interpretation of these rules; [b] to indemnify, release, discharge and hold harmless Sponsor, and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising agencies, promotional agencies and suppliers, Lions Gate Entertainment Inc. (“Prize Provider”), and any other individual or company involved in the development or execution of the Promotion (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all injuries, liability, losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind resulting from their participation in the Promotion or their acceptance, use or misuse of a Prize; and, if a winner, [c] to the use of his/her name, voice, image and/or likenesses for advertising, publicity and promotional purposes without further compensation (unless prohibited by law) and to execute specific consent to such use if asked to do so.  Each entrant gives consent to Sponsor to obtain and deliver his or her name and other information to third parties for the purpose of administering this Promotion and to comply with applicable laws, regulations and rules.  Entries which contain false information, are incomplete, inaccurate or are otherwise forged, defective, or made outside authorized channels, shall be void.  Released Parties are not responsible and shall not be liable for: [a] any error (human or otherwise) which may occur in the processing of entries; [b] any condition caused by events that may cause the Promotion to be disrupted.  If, for any reason whatsoever, this Promotion, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, is not capable of running as planned, or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Promotion and limit entries to those legitimately submitted prior to the action taken, and/or to award the prizes in such a manner as may be deemed fair and equitable by Sponsor in its sole discretion.  No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded.  All prize details not specified in these Official Rules will be determined in Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion.  Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion or any website associated therewith; to be acting in violation of these Official Rules; or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.  CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.  All Entries become the property of Sponsor. No prize transfer or cash redemption.  All federal, state and local laws, and regulations apply.

Governing Law/Limitation of Liability: All issues and questions concerning the conduct of the Promotion; the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules; or the rights and obligations of entrants or Sponsor in connection with the Promotion will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California without regard to conflict of laws principles, and any actions, arbitrations, claims or suits shall be held in the State of California. If for any reason a claim proceeds in court rather than in arbitration described below, Sponsor and Entry each waive any right to a jury trial. 

 BY ENTERING THE PROMOTION, ENTRANT AGREES THAT TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW: (1) ANY AND ALL DISPUTES, CLAIMS AND CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH THE PROMOTION, OR ANY PRIZE AWARDED, WILL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION; (2) ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS AND AWARDS WILL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL THIRD-PARTY, OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS INCURRED (IF ANY) NOT TO EXCEED FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00), BUT IN NO EVENT WILL ATTORNEYS’ FEES BE AWARDED OR RECOVERABLE; (3) UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ANY ENTRANT BE PERMITTED TO OBTAIN ANY AWARD FOR, AND ENTRANT HEREBY KNOWINGLY AND EXPRESSLY WAIVES ALL RIGHTS TO SEEK, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS AND/OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES, OTHER THAN ACTUAL OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES NOT TO EXCEED FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00), AND/OR ANY RIGHTS TO HAVE DAMAGES MULTIPLIED OR OTHERWISE INCREASED; AND (4) ENTRANTS’ REMEDIES ARE LIMITED TO A CLAIM FOR MONEY DAMAGES (IF ANY) AND ENTRANT IRREVOCABLY WAIVES ANY RIGHT TO SEEK INJUNCTIVE OR EQUITABLE RELIEF.  SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. 

Dispute Resolution: The parties agree that any dispute or claim or legal action arising out of or relating in any way to the conduct of the Promotion or these Official Rules will be resolved by binding arbitration, rather than in court, except that entrants may assert claims in small claims court if the claims qualify.  

To begin an arbitration proceeding, you must send a letter requesting arbitration and describing your claim to The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® Now You See Me Sweepstakes, 100 North Barranca Street, Suite 1200, West Covina, CA 91791, ATTN: Legal. The arbitration will be conducted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its rules, including the AAA’s Supplementary Procedures for Consumer-Related Disputes. The AAA’s rules are available at www.adr.org or by calling 1-800-778-7879. Payment of all filing, administration and arbitrator fees will be governed by the AAA’s rules. 

 

Winners List: For a list of winners, please send a self-addressed stamped envelope to The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® Now You See Me Sweepstakes, 550 S. Hope Street, Suite 2100, Los Angeles, CA 90071, Attention: Marketing postmarked by December 15, 2025.  Washington and Vermont residents may omit return postage.   

Miscellaneous: The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules or the Affidavit will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision.  In the event that any provision of the Official Rules or the Affidavit is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, the other provisions will remain in effect and will be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.  Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules will not constitute a waiver of that provision.  When terms such as “may” are used in these Official Rules, Sponsor has sole and absolute discretion.  Entrants agree to waive any rights to claim ambiguity of these Official Rules.  Headings are solely for convenience of reference and will not be deemed to affect in any manner the meaning or intent of the documents or any provision hereof.  In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Promotion-related materials, privacy policy or terms of use on the Website and/or the terms and conditions of the Official Rules, the Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control and the discrepancy will be resolved in Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion.
